Georgina Goodwin

Georgina Goodwin is a Kenyan-born and based documentary and conservation photographer with over 20 years of experience working across Africa. She is an Associate Fellow of the International League of Conservation Photographers, a former Canon Ambassador, a Canon Academy Certified Trainer, and a two-time TEDx speaker and coach.

Her work focuses on the intersection of environment, conservation, and community, and has been commissioned by leading organizations including Conservation International, The Nature Conservancy, Oxfam, and WWF. She is a British Journal of Photography Portrait of Humanity Award winner and is recognized for long-term storytelling on subjects ranging from post-election violence and public health in Kenya to refugee communities and Indigenous-led conservation.

Georgina serves as a mentor for World Press Photo and Vital Impacts, with additional mentorship roles through Girls Who Click and Women in Wildlife. Her photographs have been published by The New York Times, The Guardian, AFP, the United Nations, Elle, Vogue, and many others, and exhibited internationally in cities including New York, Paris, Tokyo, and Bogotá.

She is also the founder of GGImages Media, an African storytelling agency dedicated to ethical, community-led conservation narratives.
